How do I become a qualified seller?

We have a two step process for becoming a qualified seller at Little Boy Thrift. Step one is to fill out the seller application here. Once your application has been approved, we will then schedule a video consultation to review the items you hope to sell together. This allows us to determine whether your items are a good fit for the store before shipping and give you as the seller the opportunity to ask questions and determine if you’d like to move forward in the selling process. 

What is the selling process and how do I get paid?

Once you have become a qualified seller, we can either do a porch pickup or location dropoff for sellers local to Vancouver, Washington. If you are outside of Vancouver, we will ask you to ship your items to us for review. The seller is responsible for paying for the shipping cost, but is qualified for up to a $50 shipping reimbursement when we bring $200 retail value or more into the store from your buy. 

Will you return the items you do not accept into the store to me? 

The items we do not bring into the store will not be returned to you, but rather will be donated to a local charity. 

Why is there such a specific list of acceptable brands? 

We only accept specific brands into our shop because that is the need that we found in the market. There are many resale childrenswear resale shops, but Little Boy Thrift is specific to premium brands and quality items.

Do you accept returns?

As a small startup business, we are not currently able to accept returns. That being said, we prioritize only bringing items into the store that we believe are in excellent condition. 

What if I am not happy with the quality of my item once received? 

Our buying process is very specific and thorough. We do not accept any items into the store that are stained, have foul odor, have rips or tears, or are missing any of the original fastens or embellishments. Each product listing includes a rating from our Good, Better, Best scale with notes on the specific rating if it is anything less than Best.

What is the Good, Better, Best rating system? 

Our Good, Better, Best mentality means that you can expect everything sold in our story to be a premium brand, of excellent quality, and of pristine condition. Using this system allows us to appropriately price items as they arrive in our store at the same time as it supports you in your shopping experience. 

Good: The Good category includes items that may show signs of minimal to moderate wear or come from more accessible brands such as Zara, At Noon Store, or Little One Shop.

Better: The Better category includes items that may show minimal signs of wear and/or come from brands such as Rylee and Cru, Quincey Mae, Kyte Baby, and Pehr. 

Best: The Best category includes items that are new with or without tags, never worn, or worn very few times. The Best brand category includes names such as The Animal Observatory, Bobo Choses, and Tiny Cottons.
